Dear Prospective Partners

We invite you to join us in pursuing our mission to promote Downtown Victoria as the business heart of Greater Victoria. As we embark on this exciting venture, we need the support of all the business and property owners in the Downtown core. Every voice matters, each suggestion is valued, and all contributions are appreciated.

Be part of the exciting initiatives of the DVBA:

  • Developing programs such as the Clean and Safe, Block by Block, and Block Captains program;
  • Supporting police efforts through the Block Captain program and by sponsoring the Police Volunteer program;
  • Helping to keep our city clean by supporting the City of Victoria in lighting, beautification schemes, clean-up programs, and by hiring marginalized workers to assist in extra clean-up projects;
  • Supporting marketing and other initiatives of Downtown members;
  • Sponsoring Downtown events which promote business in the Downtown core;
  • Lobbying governmental agencies to provide support to DVBA initiatives.

The Downtown Victoria Business Association is focused solely on the Downtown and its constituents, and offers you the unparalleled opportunity to stay connected, to be involved, and to let your opinions be heard.

If you are within the Downtown Victoria boundaries, we would be pleased to welcome you as a member of the DVBA. There is a nominal $5.00 membership fee (dues), in addition to the levy assessment on your business or property, to become an official member of DVBA. You will then have the opportunity to help enhance and enrich the Downtown environment for the good of all.
