A delightful group of young ukulele players put a tropical twist on Christmas in this ever-popular event!  From 11:30 - 12:30 in Market Square, enjoy this free event.

It's not Christmas until it's TubaChristmas!  More than 50 tuba players from across BC and the Pacific Northwest come together to perform seasonal favourites in a big way; it only happens once a year.  Kick off the holiday season with this fun-loving family Christmas tradition that originated more than 30 years ago in New York City's Rockefeller Centre.  Free admission; performance from 1 - 3 pm.

December 5, 2:30 pm

The film version of two beloved stories by Raymond Briggs, The Snowman and The Bear, are screened with live musical accompaniment by the Victoria Symphony.  Experience the magic of remarkable friendships with James and his snowman and Tilly and her polar bear as they set off on wonderful adventures.  Tickets are available through the Royal Theatre box office, online at www.rmts.bc.ca, or by calling 250-386-6121. 

December 6, 8 pm

This performance is part of the Victoria Symphony's Legacy series, which features a variety of special guests.  In this performance, Alain Lefevre performs the most famous piano concerto of all time, Rachmaninoff's Second, followed by Tchaikovsky's "Winter Dreams", with music director & conductor Tania Miller at the helm.  Tickets are available through the Royal Theatre box office, online at www.rmts.bc.ca, or by calling 250-386-6121.

The Victoria Symphony presents this popular concert series, bringing exciting and energetic music to orchestra audiences and featuring an array of guest performers.  Canada's foremost musical comedienne, Mary Lou Fallis, serves up a performance of musical hijinks in My Funny Christmastime.  Always illuminating but mostly hilarious, Mary Lou will provide definitive performances of familiar Christmas classics and invent some classics of her own that will put some laugh-out-loud joy into your holidays.  Tickets are available through the Royal Theatre box office, by calling 250-386-6121, or online at www.rmts.bc.ca.

Free admission to a grand performance by these accomplished musicians as they fill Market Square with holiday magic.

Don't miss this special evening with Tom Jackson & Guests as they perform in a fundraising concert for the Mustard Seed Food Bank.  More information will be added as details are available.
