Musical & Design Preview of Pacific Opera Victoria's 2010/11 Season

Downtown residents and business owners are invited to attend a reception at which Pacific Opera Victoria will preview their 2010/11 Season.  Hosted at Winchester Gallery, 796 Humboldt Street.  Casual reception with light refreshment beginning at 4:30 pm; at 5:15 pm POV's presentation begins.  Enjoy a musical preview with Robert Holliston, Head Coach and a design preview with Ian Rye, Director of Production.  Space is limited - RSVP to Kim at 250-385-0222.

Second Annual Summer Chess Fest

September 11 & 12, 10 - 8 pm (Saturday) and 10 - 6 pm (Sunday)

The second annual summer chess festival includes activities such as chess tournaments for all ages, bughouse, demos, twilight blitz, learn to play and more.  $10 entry fee for tournaments, but all other events are free.  Spectators welcome!

Victoria Drop Zone
